1982 cents

    i believe this is a small date. But not a copper cent.

    You are correct. Small date 1982-d zinc cent. Nice job with the ID.

    Thank you. New to coin collecting. What would cause all the bubble like dots on the cent? I see it on the reverse as well.

    Plating blisters most likely.

    Blistering is evidence that it's a Copper plated zinc Cent. A copper Cent would not have plating blisters.
