1959 quarteralmost mint

    An AU 1959 Philadelphia?

    A couple of bucks at most, IMHO.

    Is that a die crack on the base of Washington's neck? Might be wrong, but sure looks like it is. Anyone else see that?

    sure, it is a die crack, still 8 to 8.5 times face.

    No biggie in terms of actual dollars, but with silver currently at $14.37 an ounce, I would think the coin should be worth close to 11 times face value.

    It has a type "B" reverse, so it will probably have a good premium down the road, I'd keep it.......................

    Type "B"reverse is from a proof die,this was done on some of the B/S coins from 1956-1964, if you look at a proof coin from that time period you will see that it is the same...........

    1. separation in E S of states

    2. A in dollar is touching the leaf above

    3. strong strike on tail and wings

    4. Top of M in UNUM encompasses IB of PLURIBUS

    5. The Arrow points are below the leaf to the left
