Same thing for the '28-D Buffalo, I need to come to that show. LOL

 

I did not negotiate with the dealer.

 

That would be one of the few times, where I wouldn't negotiate either. LOL

 

Cherrypicked this one off E-Bay. I saw it when it first came up for auction. I bid on it first. I camped on this coin for a week. When it came down to the final moments of the bid, obviously, I was not the only person who saw what I saw. Needless to say, I had to raise my bid within the last few seconds and almost lost it. I didn't have an example. I paid $43.00.

 

This coin exemplifies the frustration of trying to sell State Quarters. Especially, these high grade Satin Finish coins. Prior to my BIN purchase I saw this coin come up for auction starting at $0.99 + $3.50 shipping. No one bid on the coin. Next thing I know while looking at coins on E-Bay, there is this coin again. This time with a BIN price of $0.99 + FREE SHIPPING.

Picked up the 1991 Silver Eagle on ebay for the highest bid of $23.50 I thought that was a steal if a deal.

MCM sent this 2018 American Silver Eagle to me for just $38.09. I thought that was within my price range, because I'm on a tight budget

 

Brief comments re. some of the Coins. The Half Dollar, 1942 (Walking Liberty during WWII). 50 cents, 1836. (Battle of Alamo ends. - Republic of Texas declares independence from Mexico).- Half Dime, 1852. (Birkenhead sinks. Uncle Tom's Cabin published in book form).- 1 cent, 1857.(Flying Eagle cent released for circulation. - Indian Mutiny). - Apologies for any mistakes. And there were, of course, many other significant events during those years.

Not the rarest or the prettiest, but just got my first Mercury Dimes which I think is a great looking coin.
