No, only several BU condition Ikes for the dansco I’m filling from circulation.

This head teller told me she must call the coin vault to order Ikes.

@berto you are very fortunate to be able to order large dollars. So far none of my branch managers or vault tellers have been able to do that for me. Good going!

Tx, the only problem is it seems to take about 6 months for several hundred to accumulate at this bank’s coin vault...patience is a virtue.

Well 0-32, not counting the the single 1967 JFK as ending another week of skunks. Next week will be smaller because my branches usually forget to order on holiday weeks.

What happens when all the silver disappears because it has been scooped up by collectors? Serious question....this is bound to happen one day...

As a former detectorist, I can assure you there is enough lost silver out there in the ground and underwater to ever be completely scooped up. Some of it may be found accidentally by non-numismatists and make its way into circulation occasionally.

We'll be done using coins and physical money long before the supply of silver out there "in the wild" has dwindled, whether it is in the ground, in lakes, seas, and rivers, or in bags, boxes and jars in closets and attics and cellars and cash drawers.

Sure, it might get harder to find as time marches on, but the supply will never completely dry up.

Well, I just meant refined silver, specifically as coinage, not raw, un-mined silver. I feel eventually there will be almost nothing left in circulation. If you meant silver coins in the grounds or under water, I always though this myself, but wondered how those coins get there in the first place (excluding the obvious -- shipwrecks or plane crashes, or the like).

Nah, that's just not the same as a mint wrapped paper roll being slabbed. Besides, Silver eagles are overrated anyway. ;)

Only 5 boxes of halves this week instead of the normal 6. Driver forgot a box. No biggie.
    Ended up with:
    4x90%ers (44P, 45D, 49D, 58D)
    5x40%ers
Total of just a bit over 2oz. This month I only pulled a bit over 7oz Ag. Oh well.

My main bank only had $200 in MWRs, and they didn’t disappoint:
    (3) 40%ers
    (1) 1974-D DDO
    (1) 1985-S Proof
    (1) 2013-P NIFC
Prior to these, I had been on a 2 box skunk streak, lol!
Seriously, I haven’t bought halves lately as I’ve been going through my Dad’s collection cherry picking his best cents, dimes, & halves. On to his nickels and quarters next. But, I do have my first box of halves on order from a secondary bank that I’ve previously gotten a few rolls here and there. Hoping I can tap into a new silver source.;)

People will still inherit their 'grandfather's' coin collection and dump it at their bank. It is a (hopefully) never-ending cycle. Silver will still keep circulating.

Wrapping up my latest boxes of cents and nickels early this morning. Cents were kinda boring but this box of nickels yielded some interest.

    Cent box (#13)
11 Wheaties. Oldest was a 34 (the first of that date found in the wild). Another 4 from the 40's and 6 from the 50's.
    No non-canadian foreign

    Nickel box (#14)
    pre-war: 1939, 1940, 1940d, 1940s (This was the first time I've pulled the 40p/d/s tri-fecta from the same box)
    WWII: 1945P and 1943P
    post-war: 4 from the 40's and 9 from the 50's
Proofs: 1963 (this find was discussed in a separate thread)
    No non-canadian foreign

This nickel box was a lot fun finding the silver, the proof, and the 1940 set.

Cumulative cent "keeper" success rate: 0.38%
Cumulative nickel "keeper" success rate: 1.1%

Looking forward to seeing what you find.
Wish I could get boxes like yours. Not just with the enders but the actual boxes. I like using them to unwrap my cents and put them in there so I can just dig a handful at a time. Way easier than unwrapping every roll singly while doing CRH.
