    $14 MWR nickels: 1939, 1946, 1953, 1954-D, 1959-D

$6 MWR pennies: all but one roll were new 2018 (P)

    $2 loose halves: nada

Did find an average circulated 1955-D cent in a "need a penny" dish. Was hoping it was the S mint, the newest Lincoln cent I'm missing.

I Got another box at the second bank in town. These all came from a teller window. No massive amounts of copper yet.
But of what there is only 2 or 3 are non salvageable and 10-15 seem to be keepable.

Finished my surpise box of halves.
    0 silver :( 2 NIFC.
Overall pretty boring box. I was disapointed, was hoping for a good one. Thats ok because according to my calculations, my order of a box of halves should be ready at my "ordering bank".

Let me ask you all a questions- do you find that every branch of a bank is willing to order for you. I.E Lets say i have an account at Bank A. Do you find that all of bank A's branches will order the same things for you.

I only ask because at the bank i use, 1 branch will order me Halves and 2 dollar bills, 1 will only order me halves and 1 one order me anything at all. Perplexing, especially as i am a preferred member (my dad has worked for said bank for almost 30 years now). Curious if it's standard to have this variance.

I also went through the book sale money for my coworker. I found a uncommon star note $5 bill. Most of the coins were not collectable. A couple pre 60 jeffs. No silver. 1 buffalo which was cool!

The branches I use are very accommodating and are interested in what I find. There is only only branch manager that won’t order for me but the others are very willing.

My theory is that YOU are culling all the silver from your area ;)

yes, that has crossed my mind, but all the boxes I am getting right now are coming out a Virginia according my Loomis contact, because they have (southern Va not your area) and I am in NC. I have never gone multiple strings of skunks this bad. Ill rack it up to me and competition!

Ace, I’ve found each bank and branch varies as a result of the individuals working there.

For example, I don’t like locally ordering boxes of halves because finds are dismal. But the head teller at one of the banks I frequent offers to order me more halves every time I enter the bank. Our relationship started when I asked for halves and large dollar coins. She told me she didn’t have any but would order me some. As soon as she offered to order large dollars I asked if she really could order them. She said she personally knew “the girls” at the coin vault, so all she had to do was call them and they would know exactly what (large dollars) she wanted to order. She subsequently placed an order for large dollars for me and received several hundred worth, which is all the coin vault had at the time. Since then every time I go into the bank she greets me with a wave and a smile and offers to order coin for me. I am always gracious and genuinely appreciative.

That's interesting that she could order large dollar coins. I wasn't able to at any banks around me because even the nicest managers said they simply don't have the option to order large dollars on their order sheets. Have you found anything of value in the large dollar coins, like silver Ikes, Peaces, Morgans, or dare I say, Trade Dollars???

Not sure how that many pics showed up as there were only supposed to be 2. We have held off on opening them because we thought it was unique.
