@TypeCoin971793 , IMO, that's a good type of Crazy. Some very beautiful additions. Love the Bust half dime. I agree the color looks natural to me too.

No guesses on the grades. Looks like you did well.

    @C-B-D was the closest.

I felt it could upgrade, so it might accompany my next NGC submission to @C-B-D .

An a high-end MS-64 and possible 65 with attractive original toning? Yes please!

I saw this in the case and knew it was undergraded. You guys confirmed my suspicions. It is by far the best walker I have ever had. This was $50.

There was a whole bunch of sticker residue that I tried to clean off. Ruined the slab in the process. Had to crack it out to get a halfway-decent picture.

The h- 10 may do better in the soap bar then cracking it. The right buyer will know it's undergraded and pay upwards for it as is in the old anacs holder.

Unless it gets a star at NGC, that is.

Nice pickups... that Anacs label is a possible contributor to the toning on that Walker. I had one with just a little more toning than that on the obverse it was beautiful... but my idiot self sold it when I upgraded the example 4 my toned typeset and then I ended up selling the upgrade....so now I don't even have a nice Toned Walker .... grrr :sour: lesson learned unfortunately

RE: the h10c, this is an area of grading that continues to baffle me. Sometimes subdued luster from toning knocks the MS# way down, and other times I see coins in 67 holders that are completely covered in the rust colored toning, without strong luster at all. What gives?

It is not just Luster that makes the grade...one may or ,may not care for toning.
However there's no doupt that the strike on the op coin is one that was hammered!
The stars alone are as perfect as they can be, there's no wear at all on any high points all details are crisp . The surfaces are as natural as they can be....the only draw back is finding a buyer who has the cash in hand to pay for such a piece.
In this case it is possible it could be a waiting game, maybe not.
Another member here had a seated quarter top pop, great rare hard to find variety.
I believe it did sell but...it took some tiime to find the right buyer. ...and at that he still didn't get full value....oh yes he did fine as to what he had in the coin. However you just don't find a buyer every day who has 6k to drop on a coin.

For sure. That's why I was scratching my head- well struck, nice surfaces, nice color... I guess that's why grading is subjective. Great coin... looks like something @ldhair might dig with the blues going on.

I do love blue. What do you think held it back? Luster? Maybe tiny hits we cant see in the images? It's a pretty coin.

And what if NGC sez ACK images.png that tone doesn't look natural? And then details it?

Always a risk. FWIW, I doubt it would star. NGC typically won't star a 1 or 2 color coin. There has to be a series of color progressions. And they've gotten stingy with them.

And that's why I'm an advocate of leaving well enough alone...if a buyer can't tell that the coin in question is PQ and well worth more than 62 money they shouldn't be able to buy it!
If it was a coin with issues, or features that weren't eye appealing maybe ,but to find any fault with this specimen is just plane stupid.

I wonder how many people cracked out PCGS doily gems looking for an upgrade? Now look at them.... those remaining are worth huge premiums, whether they have CAC stickers or not..

Two or 3 shows back I saw a nickel in a flip and it had a dolly label tucked in the other side.. I was thinking dumb move on that one..
