    I finally found a 1944 penny! With my luck, I doubt its doubling but it's something. MD possibly? 20180517_144716.jpg 20180517_144643.jpg 20180517_145342.jpg 20180517_145119.jpg 20180517_145040.jpg 20180517_145152.jpg

Machine Doubling. Not worth anything more in value.

Your coin shows two characteristics of machine doubling
    1. A flat shelf like appearance
    2. The letters are thinner than normal

Take a look at the following site and read about doubled dies and how dies are made. It also has a good explanation on Die Deterioration Doubling

    BTW: Nice pics
