That's an issue with plating. Not a doubled die.

 

how about a image of the date with the mint-mark .

I sure do hope I one day find a doubled die to share. DDD and MD are testing my nerve.

 

Hey don't feel bad. I still can't truly determine MD from DD, although some DD's are obvious (IE 1955 cent, etc).

 

Its like the 82 small date. Once you see one in hand. You'll never have to ask again. That said. I can't tell either. Dd or md
