Eh, I don't think warning potential buyers that a seller could be a scammer could bite anyone in the butt

It certainly can if they decide they want to sue you for it. And yeah, it's happened right here on this forum.

And no, if won't matter if you're right. It won't matter if every single thing you say is true. You'll still have to pay the lawyers.

    Good luck with that.

A lot of folks have paid giant lawyer fees because of what they said on coin forums. It gets really interesting when you tick off someone with a lot of money and a reputation they need to defend. They don't play nice and everyone involved gets to pay. Those that have been on the boards for many years have watched this happen many times.

Well, now that he has been tagged, it will be interesting hearing his side. If he responds.

Are you saying he screwed you, too? I saw him list that roll of ASE's! @Santinidollar

But the mods won't remove him, because he doesn't post cuss words or make online threats. Stealing people's money is cool though....
Oh sorry, ALLEGEDLY stealing. Because yeah the 2 or 3 other people over the past year were just making it up too.

I was wondering who the victim was. Sorry it was you. I suggest contacting the postal inspection service. Enough of this guy.

Wonder if @GDJMSP would be opposed to one of us constantly "listing" free advice in the BST forum. Something along the lines of "Don't buy from Planman" then linking the growing list of these incidents?

In the BST sections - yes. But you can post it here or in new threads as often as you want ;)

I'd also like folks to notice that this thread was started over a year and a half ago. But Claw suffered his experience just days ago.

And yes I do feel sorry for him, wish it had never happened to him. But it could have been avoided with just a little effort.

Hopefully people paid using a recoverable method. After the last time I got burned I just posted a warning to hopefully help others avoid that member and left it at that. I do know that these scammers generally don't just get a single person and it's usually a group of people which is unfortunate and why sometimes just providing a heads up to others can be of great help.
