That's just his Philly accent. He tries real hard to cover it up when he writes but SOMETOIMES he slips up.

I avoided the travails of a Catholic education by cleverly being of no discernible faith. Public school K-12, then one of the Pennsylvania “junior Ivy” schools.

    I entitled My tome
If you demonstrate no discernible sense of humor, you place yourself squarely in the path of swift and well-earned denigration. In education the best way of decreasing this peril was to keep your head down at all times, NEVER make eye contact with the black-clad ones, and to make oneself as functionally invisible as was in your power. As I review your most recent comments/contributions, I see that power in you, waiting to burst forth.

Being of no discernible faith carried no water where I grew up. People of that ilk were routinely found out and then dragged to the town square, to be subjected not only not only denigration, but alas, but in the worst cases also to degradation.

And where I grew up, we remained heavily armed, for just such an occasion. Still do. :troll:

Which part of "That's just his Philly accent. He tries real hard to cover it up when he writes but SOMETOIMES he slips up." do you fail to discern as demonstrative of no discernible sense of humor, champ?
Well what a fascinating observation, Dr. Watson. I'll bet you're really smart.
Well thank you, Dr. Freud. Is that review of one's most recent comments/contributions reserved for just the people here who are smarter than you or do you also find the time in your obviously shallow life to review the most recent comments/contributions of the dumb people, here, too, before you form your reply, so as to not discriminate against aforesaid dumb people? That's a smart question, ain't it?

How has this thread reached 4 pages? Seems like it stopped being about errors ... oh wait there never was an error coin here.

Maybe a new section called Post Mint Damage should be created. Then when a new member creates an "error" coin thread it can be moved there, seeing how 99% of the time there isnt actually an error. Maybe at the same time a PMD section would create a nice research place for road rash and machine doubled coins:rolleyes:.

Im betting 2 more pages before this gets locked or moved to general discussion.... any takers? Got a nice 1974 penny I found in a parking lot up for grabs. I mean Lincoln's right foot is missing so it's probably worth atleast a 1000 bucks on ebay. Right?:bag:

Yes and no. For you, "missy"....

"Irregardless was popularized in dialectal American speech in the early 20th century. Its increasingly widespread spoken use called it to the attention of usage commentators as early as 1927. The most frequently repeated remark about it is that "there is no such word." There is such a word, however. It is still used primarily in speech, although it can be found from time to time in edited prose. Its reputation has not risen over the years, and it is still a long way from general acceptance. Use regardless instead."

My hat's off to anyone smart enough to spell "proselytizing." Let's get back to Post Mint Damage.

And how is that supposed to help me? I'm not interested in PMD, nor errors, nor varieties. I'm all about seeking "perfection", not imperfection. Actually, major obvious varieties I AM into.

Ah yeah. Well apparently varieties are also errors now, according to the newbies anyway.

And no one should be interested in PMD lol
