Posting that coin twice isn't going to get you any different results. LOL

@wayner-dude - Not sure where you heard about the 1982d SMALL DATE copper cent (my guess being youtube) but just realize that there has been ONE of these found thus far...out of over 6 BILLION minted. You are looking for a needle in a stack of needles. You'd have better chances winning the lottery while being struck by lightning.
I'm not saying don't search for them...just trying to temper your expectations. There are plenty of other cool things out there to be found that are more within the realm of possibility.

    EDIT: I forgot to add....@paddyman98 :p

Large date. (It's always going to be a large date if it's copper.)
One small date copper 1982-D was found, and I believe another will turn up one day, but you or I aren't going to find it.

The mods ask that we not start multiple threads on the same coin. Believe it or not, it seems like almost every day we get someone posting two or more of such threads and it only makes more work for the mods since they usually combine them anyway. No harm, no foul, but is just something to keep in mind and I'm guessing was Dave's intended point.

As has already been said, your coin is a large date and valued at one cent. Consider it part of the learning experience and you'll be the better for it. Welcome to the forum, Wayne.

Nor will he unless he wins the lottery and gets hit by lightning on the same day.

    What, what?

I was quite simply clarifying that the OP does not have such a valuable coin. Furry was simply emphasizing the point while making a lighthearted observation regarding most of the folks (not necessarily the OP) we see asking about 82's.
