Sold my box of pennies and I bought one at the second bank in town. It was sealed. It is unmarked MWR rolls with out of five rolls gave up maybe 15 keeper copper and a few more without redemption that will go in a melt roll. Probably going to put 10 copper into each roll. When I told Trish I put 10 in each that some people would be tickled to have they didn't meet my standards, she LOL'd.

    4, 40%
    1, 90%
    1, 1989 greaser
    1, lowball
    1, 2003S Cu-Ni clad proof
    1, 2016-D NIFC

    I’m satisfied!

When I picked up the remaining 19 rolls I asked to order a $500 box and the head teller told me she had another box someone else ordered, but hadn’t picked up. I told her I’d take it, but she insisted she first call the person who initially ordered it. She said she’ll call me if this person no longer wanted the box.

Someone is dumping searched halves at this branch, too. Only fools dump where they pickup! They’re going to ruin a good thing if they don’t play it smart.

    HH all

Finished 2 boxes of cents today. Nothing spectacular. 20 wheats, oldest was 27. Was still fun to search though.

My Second 4 boxes for this week all had silver in them and a bunch of foreign coins. 8-90%ers, 34-40%ers, 8-Foreign Coins, 1-Lowball, 1-72D No FG and 1-Obama Sticker Coin, Also had 9-Enders. Fantastic score 8 ounces of silver is always a good day! I am a bit suspect of the 72D, there are some scratches in the area of the FG me don't like! Lots of pics Enjoy!

Just finished cent box #12. No biggies. Found 16 wheaties: 4 from the 40's and the rest from the 50's. The best foreign find was a 2002 Italian 2 Eurocent. That was the first for that denomination or country.

My "find" rate for cents is now at 0.37% or averaging 9 wheaties per box.

    Nice finds!

Tired of Loomis skunks, staying with the 16 boxes next week but have added 4 Brinks boxes to the pick up. Busy week, haven’t done 20 boxes in a long time.
Pick up Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday

So far through 10 rolls the copper Hoover's.
I needed one reasonably good one to complete a roll.

    Just barely got there.

At my local coin shows, with the markup the metal dealers hit me with, it takes about 130-135 40%ers to trade for a sovereign.

3 boxes today. 1 skunk and then 2 each from the others. About to head to AZ for 5 days for business so no hunting for a while. Below is today’s haul.

Do you take the time to hunt errors or just focus on silver when doing dimes?

Slippery Socks...When I have time I hunt more closely, but most of the time I am in a rush, so I simply look for the silver.

Just wondering. Of all the denominations I have messed with they are the most difficult because of their size. Thanks

I thought I was done this week, then I decided to go around to my other local banks and see what I could find, I ended up with $700.00 in MWR and All Skunks. I did pull out a couple of GEMS 77D's. Have a wonderful weekend again!

20180504_155428.jpg 20180504_155410.jpg @Sam Carter Do your boxes look like this and do you actually find silver in them? I have never gotten silver out of boxes with holes.
