Hello everyone....did any of you take advantage of the latest issue from the BEP? The Richmond FRB $50 star notes Series 2001... There are 3200 or 3500 of these notes available and the higest SN# is ~ 4000 or CE00004000XX Hope you got in on the deal.....and Clembo...I know Richmond is nowhere near New York...LOL http://moneyfactory.gov/store/section.cfm/73/2824 BTW..I just saw where it is sold out!! The Bureau of Engraving and Printing produced 640,000 Series 2001 $50 Richmond star notes. The 4,000 limit applies to the presentation holder (and the serial number). still a short run though.
although i do not collect random notes like this...I picked it up like I did the $100 Boston Star a year or so ago....put it away for AJ... Ya never know what it might bring as it has sold out now...20-30 years down the road it could be good if the SN is low enough!! RickieB
I got the note today!! Well the note came today...it is SN 00003361..... Wish it could have been better like 3333 but it is wat it is! RickieB
I wanted to get one and was planning on getting one. However, I couldn't get to the site quick enough before they were sold out. Do you think if I stop by on my way home and ask really, really nice that they'd sell me one? Not! If I can't get one than I'm glad you did RickieB because it will have a good home. Thanks guy's... I have been working hardto get the Notes up on the site DeOrc mentioned to me... I just finished posting the New York 100, 50, and 20$ notes along with the fractional,Obsolete and Large Size....Whew!! I am tired..Dagger and DeOrc I now know how you feel!! Regards RickieB

i cant keep up with you RickieB or De Orc for that matter i got thousands of items i need to scan, but may scanner will only scan one or twice a week! D**M crap Epson!
