My guess, maybe 60, 70 for sure. I think its 63 though, but may not matter that much on these coins.

That was really interesting. Aren't there a few SP (Specimen Proof) Peace Dollars?

Very nice. Also good use of video to shown the PL finish. NGC shows 6,585 1926-s Peaceful dollars of which 2 have received the PL designation. Also typically, only one other year, 1934-D, has 3 PL specimens. Thus there are only 5 PL Peaces out of nearly 800,000 Peace dollars graded.

Didn't check PCGS but then again I only collect foreign so I'm more used to NGC.

physics-fan3.14 You got any more of them.... prooflikes?

Is that the one that was on Ebay? I was watching that one, but just didn't have the cash to pull the trigger. Congrats! I'm glad it went to a good home.

I've got a Star semi-PL, but I'm sure that thing is gorgeous in hand!

Yup it was the one on ebay. Listed by Sil DeGenova. I threw a best offer at it and he accepted well below the list. I was thrilled. Still strong money but the coin is amazing. He may be selling the ms-65 26-S he says. Start saving up now. The rumored asking price is up there. There is one of the MS 63 34-D up for sale on a dealer site also.

There are only 5 graded in NGC PL. There is at least 1 Anacs PL as well which I also own. But everyone thinks its not really PL. It is but its in a MS 62 so its a little beat up and tough to photograph. There may be a 6th NGC soon. I have another 26-S im going to try and help someone get crossed as PL at NGC from the anacs holder. Its very close to the 64 here IMO and has a shot.

Do you have the reference? I'd like to know what the 65 goes for. Not to worry tho I almost exclusively collect foreign. The only US I watched recently was the 62 grade 1846-O Seated Dollar sold by Heritage.

The ebay auction for this one or the 65? The 65 was from a private convo. It may not go to sale. https://www.ebay.com/itm/1926-S-1-P...406386&hash=item48aa9163ae:g:xMIAAOSw~qxavrXL
