All 88's are wide AM. Beyond that I am not 100% sure what you are asking, but I am not seeing anything on your coin that looks out of the ordinary.

Obverse side: Lincoln's face, eye and the hair
Reverse side: ONE CENT and the initial. Is it connected to the memorial. I tout there is a gap in between

That coin is an 83' not an 88'. The years for CAM is 92'
the years for WAM is 98, 99, 2000.

From looking at your photos, this all looks to be PMD, especially on the "one cent".

The confusion is PCGS's fault. If you have a 1988 with reverse of 89, PCGS labels them as 1988 reverse of 89 wide AM. People see that and think that the wide AM is what makes it a reverse of 89. The problem is both 1988 and 1989 reverses are wide AM. PCGS needs to drop that last part off the labels.

Just one more reason for me not to like PCGS or any of the other plastic coffin makers :p

Looked at more then a few 88d+p's today. Drew a blank. Have about 500 more to go. What do you think are my odds. If you guess ill let you know

The confusion seems to start here.

The AM is very misleading I believe. But it could also be a reference. Along with the bold FG, it also looks like there may have been a little tooling on the master die. RDV-006 seems to have a much stronger AM also.

The Cherrypickers Guide also perpetuates this confusion as well...Spark
