I bought a lot of two widows mites on ebay, one I'm giving to my dad as a x-mass gift and this one I don't know what I'm going to do with yet. after I bought it, the seller emailed me saying that on second thought she didn't think this was a widows mite, but a judeon lilly coin, and asked if I'd like to trade the coin out for another widows mite. I told her I'd like to keep the coin I had won and asked her to tell me anything she knew about it. she emailed me back that she had shown the coin to some people who verified that is in fact a widows mite and that what appears to be a flower is actually a rarer anchor design. so if anyone could tell me anything about the coin and it's probable worth I'd appreciate it, thanks.
I personally know nothing about widow mite. I found this website selling them, perhap's you can locate your's. Rhubarb http://www.ancientimports.com/cgi-bin/category.pl?id=16 Welcome to the Forum
Welcoem to the forum. I dont know anything about them, but have always considered buying one, but its somewhere in the middle of a long list of coins
I paid 25 bucks for one that looked like yours, or maybe slightly better. I don't know if it was a good deal or not, because I don't know about ancients, but I trusted the dealer I got it from.
well I'd be willing to sell this one rather cheap probably, I don't need two of them (my dad's the coin guy, I'm more of a knife collector =)
If you want to sell it, you can advertise it here in the open section, but I think you have to have 10 posts first. Or, I guess you could use e-bay.
thank you, but no. I am currently looking into expandign ym library, and have very limited funds to even do that! But thank you.
