I don't have pictures becuase I am using a laptop at the moment, but I have some minor off center lincoln cents. Very minor, but noticable without magnification. Nothing is missing but enough for one side to not have a raised rim. Worth keeping?
I know what you mean, its just that I collect a little of everything, and finding varieties and errors in pocket change is my more capitalistic side hoping to make a few bucks to put towards my other sets. So I don't want to put these to the side then I walk into a shop and ask what they are worth and a dealer laughs and says 1 penny. I'll get around to posting pictures sometime.
Both sides need to be off to be off center. One side is a mis aligned die strike, and if it's minor as you say there's not really going to be a premium. The larger the error the better. If it's off center it's worth more than 1 cent. If the misaligned die is large, it's worth more than 1 cent.
I usually throw them in rolls with like coins. When I was roll hunting. I made a small shelf that held about 30 different plastic coin rolls. It was for the ones that weren't worth putting in a flip, or I wasn't sure about. Ie worth, variety, error etc. I am also on a lap top.
