Won this today on an Auction. Since Baltimore is my home town and Babe was born here in South Baltimore too...this was hard to pass up even thought I don't collect such.
Another reason it came with the original paper work the envelope, letter, and still sealed in the plastic bag from the issue date.
If you enlarge the letter you may see a few names that may ring a bell.
For the money paid I believe this to have been way under valued for the historical significance. But yeah I would it's my home town and just another reason I'm sure proud of hailing from here.

Didn't realize that the letter wasn't legible will re image when in hand and post again.
These were solded by a group to rehab the home he was born in. The city wanted to preserve and make it into a shrine in his honor.
