i bought 1969 sms set from e bay i was looking at it for any flows but for my surprise i notice a vd b on the torso of abe which to me vdb only found on 1909 wheat cent unless i am wrong i want an answer for this from the guys with more knowledge tell me if that possibility exist or not a scan will be uploaded but because the plastic i do not thing it comes ok

Your Cent was minted in Philadelphia They did not use a P Mint Mark until 2017... You have a normal 1969 Cent with VDB initials... It's normal

i never doubted you i said i never seen one on other hand the other cent was minted in san Fransisco but bot are on the same set is it odd to have two different minted coins in one set
Yes, all three cents, PD&S were issued in Mint sets in 1969. The S was a circulation coin so was included in these sets, as opposed to a proof coin being issued only in a proof set.

If it's still in the packaging it's in Mint condition. I meant that the 1969S was a coin that was intended to be used in commerce as a regular business issue, unlike the "S" proof which was not. All of the "S" coins that were issued in "MINT" sets from 1968-1974 were intended for use in commerce as business strikes. That stopped in 1975 when they were only issued in proof sets for collectors.
Proof coins are coins issued at a premium for collectors and are NIFC Not Intended For Circulation issues. Proofs are only issued by one mint. Normal circulation coins are issued at all the mints and Mint Sets are made up and issued by the government as sets containing these intended for circulation coins.
