Die chip on a 1944 Lincoln cent found on outer 4

    I found a 1944 Lincoln cent with a die chip (I believe) on the outer 4, what do you guys think it is??

    Looks more like it took a hit and the metal got shoved around. Easy enough to do on copper/bronze coins.
