    It's worth a dollar to me. Barely. But everyone collects what they like, and as collectors we do quirky things. Some more quirky than others.

    Huh???.... I was at my buddies shop today and he had a whole shelf of graded Ike's somebody had brought in. Isn't that somewhat akin to using ten dollar bills to light your fireplace?

    I would think you could buy a rock tumbler, load it with a handful of Ike dollars and some grit, and let it run for a few weeks to create your own Poor-1 coins.

    Getting" my belt sander out after work today and making a few. I may even make a Bicentennial set. 76 Ike Dollar, 76 JFK Dollar, 76 Quarter, 76 Dime, &6 Nickel and the pièce de résistance a 76 All Copper Cent!!!!

    There are many things in this hobby I can’t wrap my hands around. Lowball sets may be at the top of the list — especially at some of the prices one sees.
