No. As was stated before, ICG does not have a very good reputation when it comes to coins with the 70 grade. We all told you the truth about the value of the coin and how many of them there are, it is up to you to believe it or not.

But you can look it up on the Heritage site for yourself if you wish.

Just assumed a ICG MS70 would be worth a great deal more then a 69.

    Nope---
As they have told you over and over again---they have posted what the coin would sell for, and after hearing how you got the coin I would think you would be glad to get $100 out of it....anything that you get will be PURE proffit.

selling property that does not belong to you is very uncool....

this garbage belongs on ebay. i think that would be the best venue to sell a piece like this for your asking price....just be sure to include the following in your item description on how the coin came into your possession... it lacks creativity but, i am certain it will still hook some unsuspecting or ignorant fool.

''I work for an aparment complex, and older gentelmen passed away and no one came to get his stuff, and by our state law, the belongings were ours.''

    'tis the season

So if I spend the time and money getting it re-certified or what not. What's the most definative company?

And you wouldn't do the same, if you came across a painting worth $750-$1000 that you have no interest in?

Charity is always an option, it only hurts for a little bit when you drop it into the kettle :) I speak from experience...

If you are intent on selling, you'd probably realize a better return by using Heritage or other established auction houses to sell it for you. You can use Ebay, but you'd be a fool.

At any rate, nice coin find. Hope you find what you're looking for. You might want to find a local coin shop and have a dealer look at it and give their interpretation on it (and don't forget to puchase something from them for their effort as a courtesy).
    Best.

I don't think regrading it will do much---if you decide to do it though I would send it to NGC. I would say if you want to sell it I would suggest Teletrade.

    Huh?
    What are you referring to?

He's referring to how I obtained the coin. I work for an apartment complex, and an older gentlemen passed away, and by law, since no one came to claim his belognings, they were now mine, and fellow employee's.

I wouldn't call this at all garbage. Might be a common error, but I wouldn't call it anything close to being garbage. JMO

That's a great idea... But I'm 22, filing bankruptcy, make $10.50 an hour, and have rent, car insurance, gas, electric, etc. The money will help with christmas time.
