My reference book is currently in a box somewhere due to a recent move. Can anyone attribute this dollar for me? There is a spike coming out of the left corner of the shield, which may be one of the attributes.
I've made that mistake before, you might want to check - HERE - instead. I can tell ya it's the 13 star variety Zane, that's the best I can do. 'Course I figure ya knew that much

CappedBustDimes I am Iimpressed! Ben: Beautiful coin! Okay, so it is cleaned, re-plugged, whizzed, and tooled. Still Nice! (just said it to get it over with, not really.)
''There is a spike coming out of the left corner of the shield, which may be one of the attributes.'' early state of a progressive crack. an anomaly [not a rarity in this case. however, an example of a tds is unique] to have the crack start on a central device. i forgot to add. great coin, i like the cut of her jib.
Am I missing something or just as dense as a log? I'm not seeing the problem with this coin. It looks real enough to me. ?????
It's certainly beautiful and has very smooth looking surfaces. Sorry I can't help with the attribution though.
Ok, now that we got that out of the way, is it your's, and if so will you adopt me. That is one great looking coin.
