I understand what you're saying but it's just not a big deal for this particular lot. CAC is VERY tough on gold and specifically $20 gold. There's probably a better chance the stickered ones in this lot have upgrade potential rather than the non-stickered ones being overgraded. Check the population reports for St. Gaudens at PCGS + NGC and compare to CAC. I just looked up 1927 in MS65 and there are 46,000 total in that grade and CAC has stickered 1,500 total. 1928 has ~15,000 graded with 466 being stickered. Both examples about 3% have been stickered, call it 5% with resubmissions messing up pop reports (and higher since obviously not every one has been sent there but we can't know the true number and with the increase in value many probably have). Point is it's not too big of an insult for a gem St. Gaudens to not pass CAC's standards. Not sure why the font randomly got smaller mid post here lol
