Glad you got the bug. Our old US currency has some real beautiful artistry. I'm dipping my toe into that area. If you want to see some outstanding US Currency up for auction, visit Heritage Auctions. They have a large auction offering centered around the upcoming Central States Numismatic Society Coin and Currency Show.
I went last year. I spent all day looking at dealer inventories. I had some great conversations with many of them. I submitted some coins to NGC for re-holder. I didn't buy one coin. I was quite proud of myself for that. I didn't see any must have's. The only thing I was a bit disappointed in were the exhibits. There weren't enough of them and they weren't that interesting to me.
What!? All Cents from the 1930's are worth about $1000.000 each!... Big mistake! . . . . . . . Just kidding
