This is my best (and possibly my only) fractional. Wanted a nice example so here it is. http://i182.photobucket.com/albums/x275/clembo1872/scan0033.jpg http://i182.photobucket.com/albums/x275/clembo1872/scan0034.jpg Centering could be better but it is CU. Thoughts? RickieB?
I like it! I know it's from the fourth issue of fractional currency but I can't make out which one of the 4 types it is. Lou
Hey Clembo..how are you?? To me it looks like a Fr1257. The main difference between this and the Fr1258 is the watermark! There are 9 varieties of the Fr1257 due to Allison signing his name in different ways and courtsey autographs by three others (rare notes)! Some of his sig's are signed as "Alleson" and some as Allison. Also he dotted the "e' sometime and sometimes not. Always dotted the "i" Look closley with a loop and see whatya have!! If interested in the varities let me know I will PM you with details.. Great note by the way! Regards, RickieB
As Lucy would say...... Ahhhhhhh RICKIE! I buried it back in the safe but always want to know these things. Will get back to you in a week or two, or three etc. clembo
