I found this minor rim cud while CRH'ing. If you get on cuds on coins website it appears to be the start of a couple of the noted rim cuds they have listed. That year appears to be riddled with cuds.
Mike I believe it is considered a "die chip" but don't worry, if I am wrong, you can be sure someone will correct me.
Somethin that is missing from the definitions you posted. @SlipperySocks A cud has to be involved with the rim. A die break "Chip" can be any where on the coin, except the rim.
Yeah, I've read some definitions specifically stating the rim must be involved which makes it a little harder for us newbies to get up to speed.
