Hello, CONSTANCE II of course struck in Aquileia for 6.16g and 25mm; and at least on one above we see very well the palm leaves. Aquilée – 350/352 – Cf. RIC VIII.156 Obv:– D N CONSTAN-TIVS P F AVG and A behind the neck Rev:– FEL TEMP RE-PARATIO on in the left field Minted in Aquileia RIC VIII 156:- AQP
There are some of us who refuse to use the term 'Fallen Horseman'. You might argue that te FH2 seated type shows completion but the others show the fall inprogress making the term 'Falling' more appropriate. There was a time that we pointed fingers and corrected such things but lately there seems to be more important ways to satisfy our needs to argue so we don't bother anymore. Kent used Falling in his volume VIII of RIC and also with Carson and Hill in LRBC. Failmezger used Falling in his book on Late Roman Bronze Coins. Dealers I believe should know better have been inconsistent on the matter. I do not know who decided they were better than these guys and started the Fallen rot. I will continue to use Falling. Use what you want and don't worry about it.

It kinda makes it difficult when searching for them on vcoins and eBay. Which ever term I use omits the other. I find it easiest to just search “Constantinus” though I get a lot of results the dredge through
Another nice one. Constantius II Antioch 5,24 g / 23 mm obverse D N CONSTAN-TIVS P F AVG, pearl-diademed, draped and cuirassed bust right; reverse FEL TEMP RE-PARATIO, Gamma in left, soldier, with spiral shield, spearing Horseman, hair in braids, bearded, reaching back towards soldier ANZ Antioch 122 Sear 18170
As a big fan of John Kent I had my preference for "falling," and fought those wars on the Moneta list some years back. Looks like things have hardened to an impasse. Ah well, let there be peace. But as for your search problem, why not do an end run? Whether its falling or fallen, it's still "horseman" so why not search on "Constan... horseman reverse"? [insert name of preferred imperial ruler as indicated].
Yes, that is the best way. When I list them, I put "FEL TEMP horseman" in the title or "FEL TEMP galley" or "FEL TEMP captives" etc.
I've tried that, it works especially when I am being specific. However, I still miss a lot. Some are listed as battle scene or horse battle and some don't have FEL TEMP or the mint or type in the description. A lot don't show up when looking for specific mints. So I do newly listed searches for: Constans Constantius Constantivs Constantinus (I have found quite a but of Falling horseman with this search)
Constantius II - AE2 Obv:– D N CONSTANTIVS P F AVG, pearl diademed, draped, cuirassed bust right Rev:– FEL TEMP RE-PARATIO, soldier spearing fallen horseman who is bearded, hair in two braids, clutching horse's neck, and S in the field. Minted in Antioch : ANΘ - RIC VIII 150
A small mark, If anyone knows or has already crossed this setback; Thanks for your help, now for me it is not known Here's RIC 116 CONSZ or CONSA but this one? oversight of the burner? or new CONSZ thanks you.
Thats neat. There's a decent amount of Falling Horseman not in RIC. I guess it's up to you if want to call it unlisted in RIC or RIC 116 unlisted variant. I always go back and forth trying to decide.
