Please see what I have shown as identifiers for this variety. Thoughts? I think this cent is from the same die as this:

This coin is really awesome looking despite what the pictures seem to show. I am working on lighting to get more representative pictures.

    Cheers!

IMO I don't believe it's a match the( L) is for (002) not (001) as you are referring to your coin does have die scratches, from my understanding your coin has to have all of the same identifying marks.
It is 3:00 am here so I could be wrong on first cup of coffee. Lol

There is a lot of die polishing and the l seems to fit quite a few DDO's for the year. As Dave said all the die markers must be present to verify. Your cent is pretty well circulated. For instance the mark you see on the D is actually a scratch running from the E in epu to the D it's not a die marker.

Thanks for the input everyone! I did try not to just "see something that I wanted to see" etc. but I may have done so anyway!
As for the rest, this coin came from a roll, so it is circulated.

Here is a comparison to other well circulated and almost uncirculated coins. This coin is top row center between 1941 very toned and 2018 AU.

One other thing. The coin doesn't have to have all the markers. That is subject to die state.
