I was very pleased with my submissions to John. An earlier post of mine on the two 1995 P Lincolns, did indeed turn out to be WDDO-001 and Stage A plus EDS (Early Die Stage) and he was quite excited about the condition in such a high grade and suggested I submit them to be slabbed along with a copy of his letter. Another I sent turned out to be (2009P FY) WDDR-075, which I originally and incorrectly thought was a DDR-035 because of the similarities. From the original bank box I searched, I ended up with 8 rolls of these. The 1984 with doubling at Liberty was a miss and was mechanical doubling but sooo much looked hub doubled. So, I can be wrong and was but it was still a good submission overall. And you will never know what you have until you crack those rolls.
If anyone here has access to NGC or PCGS pop. reports, I would be very grateful to hear about the totals submitted for this 1995P DDO 001A. Conditions are not important at this point, just the totals. I have access to only ANACS. Thanks very much.
Is that the same as "early strike" ? Would you mind sharing pics of the coin? I'd love to see how it looks. Thanks!
I don't know if this is your coin, because there's no # listed, but here's the info from NGC. https://www.ngccoin.com/coin-explor...100/1995-doubled-die-obv-1c-msrb-coinid-13126
Thanks so much Rick. Guess I'll be hoping for that 69 but not going to hold onto the seat of my pants. They were both red tho. Once the word got out about these they were hoarded pretty fast in high condition.
I guess this could be considered an early strike but it is stage A so it's a bit more advanced than a first strike stage but once I send this in I'm going to ask that the EDS be included on my label. I don't have the pics anymore and waiting for them to be returned.
PCGS has 11,775 in RD. The die state isn't mentioned. I have 27of them, mostly PCGS, so they are fairly common. Congratulations on the find !! Jim
