Superior images! The doubling off the lower loop of the 9 is unmistakable and the die polish lines off the lower right wreath bow clearly match the mint mark plate. :)
A quick soak in acetone will remove that fly print.. :p

Pl or a shot at dmpl? Looks like you'll be turning a big profit on that one.

    Absolutely.. I use a Nikon D800E DSLR. It's mounted on a copy stand with a bellows and Rodenstock APO-Rodagon D 75mm lens.

It's a no question PL with a VERY good shot at DMPL. I could easily use it as an emergency signal mirror if I ever got lost in the wilderness. I know that if it were in an older holder it would absolutely be labeled as a DMPL. But with how much the TPG's have tightened up on the DMPL standards, it's on the fence today. I can clearly see the tip of a ballpoint pen reflected out at the 8 to 10 inch mark. But text on newsprint starts to get fuzzy at around 5 or 6 inches.

PCGS has only graded a total of 34 DMPL's for this date and MM. NGC has graded a total of 55. There are estimates that only around 100 or so were available in DMPL. Compared to the 1881-S DMPL where PCGS alone has certified 1145. So it's a very tough one to find in DMPL. Which of course is reflected in the prices (Pun intended). ;)

I like the way you captured the fields. The die markers are pretty profound. It seems to have the same look as a coin on coinfacts, sold in 08' for 5 figures. I am just having a hard time between MS64 and MS65.:)
