    The Google images for large cent love tokens is abysmal. I need a decent image of a large cent love token to show my jeweler/engraver what I want him to do. I know I have seen some nice images here but not having any luck searching them. If you have a love token photo, I would appreciate posting it here.

    @lordmarcovan comes to mind.

    Sorry I can be of no personal help, Randy, but good luck!

    If it is just an example of a love token, why would the denomination matter? There are LOTS I see for dimes.

    I hadn't thought about that. No, the denomination doesn't matter. With what I want to do, I am more interested in something period looking. I'll Google dime love tokens and see what pops up. Thanks

    Yep... That was the answer. I just removed 'large cent" from my Google search and that did the trick. Thank you.

    I went back and looked. I was a bit unintentionally misleading. I saw his name come up in the Google search and assumed from there. It’s actually a very wide collection of love tokens he was displaying in another website/forum. Sorry bout that.

    All is well, Randy. No harm, no foul, but still thanks for the clarification. I'm just glad you found what you were looking for. :)

    The only large cent LT I had in my old "Oddball" collection was this 1838 which had been carved into a seal matrix, but I'm afraid the pictures of it were wretched.

    I never got around to having good pictures made of most of my love tokens, so the image quality on the stuff in that collection is all over the place. I mostly was using recycled images from the previous sellers.

    This is the rough sketch of the large cent love token I am having done. Hope it looks this good in hand.

    Very nice, Randy! I've no doubt that if you found a capable individual to do it, all will turn out wonderfully. :)

    I was at a coin show on Sunday and mentioned your question to a dealer and low-and-behold he had a love token/large cent. It was really worn, but looked remarkably like the one you drew.

    Fellow drew it quickly on a computer program. I wanted something that looked period correct. The fellow came recommended to me from a friend that markets custom firearms. Says the fellow does his firearm engraving. Anyway, it's a final piece to a Mothers Day gift. When I found that incomplete love token in my dealers junk box it inspired me to complete the piece to be something meaningful... Anyway, I'll post the piece when he finishes.

    My fellow completed my love token project. And I have to say. I am quite pleased with his work.
