Stupid spell check on my phone. I can’t count the number of times it’s done that to me. Especially here as it has zero numismatic knowledge

    V. Kurt Bellman Yes, I'm blunt! Get over your "feeeeelings".

Hey, those Chinese guys who chopmarked them apparently had "issues" with them.

Agreed - here's a clip of big dumb guys chowing down on a few Morgans' worth of baked beans :yack:

Robert Goon, who along with being a friend and confidant serves as Gronkowski’s contractor, dishwasher, airport chauffeur, security guard and roommate.

    In other words, a butler.

A couple of scumbags, no doubt with heroin as a motivator.

I think they were avid collectors who simply couldn’t afford any proof Morgans for their registry set ;-)

Now that the cat is out of the bad, the reason that i knew what i did earlier in this thread is that I work for Pilgrim coin on Saturdays. My boss was the one that recovered the coins.

Well, unfortunately we have a catch-and-release policy here in the Northeast, so these two will be back at it soon.

    Careful . . . we don't know the man.

Unless you do, it might be more appropriate to write, "The guy makes his entire persona out AS being a big lunkhead . . . "

There have been some pretty intelligent people out there who were astute enough to not act that way . . . Steve Martin, Dolph Lundgren, John Lithgow, Wlatimir Klitschko, etc.

    Not coin collecting?

Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski isn’t planning to show up for the team’s voluntary offseason workouts, and he isn’t shy about explaining why: Right now his focus is dirt bikes.

Gronk was at Gillette Stadium today not for the Patriots but for a Supercross Foxboro event, and when asked what he’s been up to recently, he answered, “I’ve been training for this dirt biking.”

Well, at least my Morgan dollars are worth more than some MS-70 modern coin. :)

Third man arrested for burglary of Rob Gronkowski’s house

    https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.c...rrested-for-burglary-of-rob-gronkowskis-house

A third man has been arrested for the burglary of New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski‘s house during Super Bowl week.

According to the Associated Press, Shane Denn, 26, was arrested in Maine by the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office.

Eric Tyrrell and Anthony Almeida had already been arrested and pleaded not guilty to charges relating to the break-in. Foxborough Police Chief William Baker said authorities will seek to have Denn extradited back to Massachusetts.

Gronkowski alerted authorities to the burglary upon returning home from the Super Bowl in Minneapolis. The break-in is alleged to have happened while Gronkowski was playing in the game.
