That appears to be Chiesa di Santa Maria Assunta in Positano, Italy on the Amalfi coast (which is technically NOT the Italian Riviera, the latter being adjacent to the French Riviera in the north part of Italy).

Positano is a wonderful city to walk around. Here's one of my favorite recollections of being there in October 2016:

Not being here too often myself lately, I have to confess I had not noticed you weren't there, but I'm glad everything is OK with you.

I wish you (and the bride) the best for the wedding and honeymoon. Have fun in Italy, it's one of the nicest countries in the world

I was thinking Sorrento. Had to look it up but the two are only 5 miles apart on opposite sides of the peninsula. Have fond memories of a trip there 40 years ago. The most distinct image, after all these years, is a street high above the sea, lined on both sides with oranges tree full of fruit, and no one disturbed them.

Great to see you posting @Cucumbor ! Is April in Paris really as beautiful as they say it is? ;)

Just kidding—I know it's a beautiful city—any time of the year.

Be sure to hike the Path of the Gods if you have the opportunity! I greatly enjoyed it when I last went to Praiano/Positano.

Glad your back and in good health. I see you were in my home state CO. Personally,I'd rather water ski, or wake board than play in the snow. My first time on the slopes. My Buddy took me through the trees and down 5 black diamonds. Colorado is only 70 to 80% snow pack this year, usually there is much more of a cushion, when you fall.

Have a wonderful time on your honeymoon and Congrats on the getting married thing, I wish you both a wonderful future together.

You guys are all too kind :) I much appreciate the well wishes.

We went skiing in Winter Park which people were saying had the best snow of any of the popular resorts this year so I think we just lucked out. The second day we were there it snowed around 8" and then cleared / warmed up nicely for the next few days which made for near ideal ski conditions. I had a few good wipe outs so the powder was a nice help :)

Which mountain did you ski? Did you like it?

I love Colorado. Lots of great outdoor activities and some great Native American history too (Mesa Verde for example)... plus who doesn't love the Colorado take on green chili?

... you just mean Green Chili, right?

(Sorry - I’m a native of CO and often miss home...)
