I'm not much concerned about the awful ones on ebay - it's the good ones we should worry about.

They would have no doubt but the seller states that there is no provenance available. Too risky for a museum.

Not to pigeon hole scantily clad young ladies...so I won't. Anyone take a look at the sellers picture? Probably spent all 19 years of her life studying ancient history and numismatics!:cat::pompous::playful:

I strongly suspect this is the eBay version of catfishing.

Thanks for posting this, Mike! The seller has some interesting items for sale. The rings have a rather bold and primitive charm ;)

Some years ago the UK financial regulator put out an advert for investing in mosquito farms. People who replied were sent information about spotting scams. Maybe this is actually a public-spirited collector who is just using these listings to warn the unsuspecting?

I read an article about a psychology study that was done a while back. They obtained some emailing lists, and sent emails to all of them with an icon that said "Click here to download a virus". I forget the percentage of people that clicked the button, but it was astounding!!!!

Added new alluring photos however. I wonder if the "guy" follows CT.
