Your advice is well received. And I appreciate your honestly, even though that's sometimes tough to tell people- especially people you don't even know. I have been collecting coins since I was 12 (30 years ago)- in fact my 12th birthday present from my dad was an XF 3-legged buffalo (from Finegold's Coins) in Fair Oaks, Ca. I haven't frankly put in the time needed to learn more of the hobby- 3 kiddos will do that. But I love collecting and learning more and that's why I so very much appreciate everyone weighing in for the "new guy". Truly thank you all. I am happily passing on this deal ...In the immortal words of Admiral Ackbar... "IT"S A TRAP!"

Lots of folks return to the hobby after kids or simply living life, and based only upon this thread and your willingness to learn, I think you'll fit in just fine here. Welcome to the forum, AirCoin.

 

No misunderstandings here, just my appreciation for taking the time to educate and advise me as you would a friend. I have bought some stupid stuff in the past and regretted it later-so I think you saved me some regret later! I mean when you put it altogether the deal has all the warning signs- but it's hard to get past my "stupid brain" thinking I am going to get a great deal that nobody else saw! ... Yeah sold it when I was in my 20's to help pay rent one month... Oh well... Life is full of ups and downs... Sometimes I feel I have more "downs" than most!
