Hey all I want to share another 1909, this is the second VDB this month and third 1909 in 3 month's. All 3 are in unbelievably nice condition. I know that older generations are dying off but This cant be normal even with the older fellow's meeting their maker. I have roll searched for 15 + years and have never came across a 1909 wheat but all of the sudden I hit 3 in a row what the heck? I wonder what the odd's are. @Numbers sorry for invoking your name numbers but you are the best I know at calculating numbers Since 1909 there has been billions if not trillions of cents minted, the 1909 no vdb has a mintage of 72 million itself and the VDB has a mintage of nearly 28 million. I know that neither are worth very much but it is very odd to find so many in such a short time. Anyway here is my third '09
Nice. It’s funny how things will go like that. I won’t find any silver for a long time in circulation then I’ll find several pieces in a row
In all of the 10,000'S of cents I have gone through I still haven't found one of those good job and yet you have found two if I where you I would go and buy a lottery ticket or two. LOL Dave
Well don't for get to split it with me since I suggest it to you old buddy oh wait you haven't won yet. Lol Dave
Dang... I get giddy the once or twice a year a 1950's very worn wheatie shows up in my pocket change. I haven't found a wheatie that nice in the wild since the 1960's. Not to mention the kick-off date. Quick, go buy a lottery ticket while you are still hot! Way cool find.... Errr, finds in plural I mean!
