1979 penny, is this die deterioration?

    What’s going on with the D, and looks like indentions on all the usa and one cent?

    The marks on the reverse (USA and one cent) are just PMD and very common.

    The "filled" Denver MM of this era are also very common and carries no premium.

    I see a little bit of MD in “ONE CENT” but that is about it.
