To dip or Not to dip, that is the question

    It was a bulk that took waaaaay longer than normal. They typically do at the turn of the year due to holidays and FUN but this was ridiculous

    I would like to get rid of this rim tone, you think a dip would do it without hurting the luster.

    Posting this in an old post probably won't get many responses. If you do dip it, dip it quickly and look at it before dipping it again. You can over dip, but you can never reverse that.

    I would not recommend dipping that coin. For one thing it already has muted luster, meaning it's nearly certain it's been dipped before. So dipping it again would only lessen the luster more so, and possibly enough to make it ungradeable.
