2010 P Dime - Clipped Planchet? Opinions please.?.

I don't think so. The 'clip' seems too irregular to me and not the same arc as a dime. No Blakesly effect, either. Does another dime fit snugly in the clip?

 

I'm sure rickmp is correct but I would like to see a little bit clearer pics, JMHO

I re-focused my camera and took some more, I hope this helps.

IMO, definitely not a clip. The arc does not match. It also shows no evidence of a Blakesley effect.

(On a side note....I am super curious as to how this coin got to be in this state... it's so wierd ....if it didn't happen during minting, how could it end up this way? Any ideas on that?)
