3 more TRUSTWORTHY members with whom I've traded here recently (all of whom got their 'stuff' before anything was in the mail to come back; that's trustworthy +++):

    AJ B - username jake1932
    Jason W - username ace71499
    David D - username davdo

And there was Kent D - username MKent , a few years ago
2 others before that; cannot remember - you 2 still here?

These guys are the only ones I know of right now; trade with them withOUT reservation.

    Any other trusty members here?

I've only had 2 semi-negative experiences selling on CT. I won't name them. Neither was awful, but one I found difficult to deal with and the other offered to buy something, then stopped communicating when he apparently changed his mind. Like he went and hid, LOL!

This is a wonderful place to trade, buy, and sell, far and away, however. I love it. There are FAR more good experiences than bad.

I can pretty much say the same. Everyone with a couple exceptions has been great. And the couple that weren’t it was just they were super needy and demanding and expecting all kinds of special treatment or just generally annoying

Wow, he was last active a week ago. So what's the story? Did he ever even communicate about it?

Garlicus Debt is dumb, cash is king.

Nope, no communication after he cashed the check. Downfall of using a bank/cashier's check - not easy/possible to get your money back.

He's been called out by myself and another member multiple times, but he doesn't respond.

No problem. Giving people a heads up is why @Santinidollar and I had been blasting his name a few times on the boards, where appropriate.

Thieves are the worst. But sometimes with people like that I try to tell myself that maybe he used the money to buy his kids meds or something, and he didn't have any other way. Still, he should make good on it when he can. But if he's blocked you and Santini, then there's likely no remorse. He SHOULD be banned.

A good time to reiterate, The forum takes no responsibility for transactions that take place between members, and just so, even if you feel you were robbed, then please deal with it outside of the forum. The Title of the thread is "Trusty trade partners..."; if it is going to turn into a negative judgment thread on other members, it will be closed.

No problem if you wish to mention the positive, but suck up the negative and don't post it.

I've had over 60 transactions with members at this writing, and only one of them was unsatisfactory. In that case, the member indicated he'd sent me payment via Priority Mail with Signature Required and requested shipment of goods when it should have arrived, but hadn't. After several attempts on my part to determine the whereabouts of his payment, he claimed it had been returned to him by the post office because I had refused delivery . . . something I've never done. He went quiet after that. Thankfully, I've still got that merchandise and will find a different buyer for it.

    As I wrote, I've had 60+ transactions with members as follows . . . all of them good: @jwitten, @treylxapi47, @Lanny, @Agilmore01, @BigTee44, @rockyyaknow, @jerryc39, @Paul M., @mikenoodle, @Jaelus, @Alegandron, @Santinidollar, @Paddy54, @green18, @Dougmeister, @MMiller750, @Silverhouse, @Sullykerry2, @SLACKACTION, @Rassi, @Jason Hoffpauir, @ldhair, @desertgem, @imrich, @Muzyck, @CoinCorgi, @IBetASilverDollar, @Night*Hawk, @lordmarcovan, @Steve61, @wornslick, @Wheatmaster101, @Histman

Please note that the member who was not good to work with is not named above.

So the forum takes no responsibility, which it shouldn’t, AND you don’t allow warnings about bad experiences. That doesn’t seem quite fair. I understand not allowing personal attacks but not allowing a factual recounting of events is not right. If there’s a misunderstanding, the other party is able to refute the facts publicly.

"but not allowing a factual recounting of events is not right. If there’s a misunderstanding, the other party is able to refute the facts publicly."

If one feel aggrieved, they will have to work it out off of the forum. There are forums for such disagreements. Does anyone ever expect someone with the "reported unproven history " to come to the forum and admit that all that occurred and they will make amends immediately? Not I ,they are anonymous. I expect such to come back and throw gas on the smoldering thread and people will be infracted or possibly banned. My gosh we even had this kind of situation one year with the " Holiday exchange " as well as within the B/S/T threads which is why no one can now post freely in them, except the owner as per rules. It isn't needed again.

Yes, one might expect people to stand up and speak only the truth, but face to face is different than anonymous electrons.

@ToughCOINS you named a few more I should have too. Sorry to everyone I didn’t name. I’ve had a lot of transactions and business here especially a few years ago and my brain can be a bit space. Trey Rassi Jerryc39 sorry

I think some clarification on what members are allowed to post and not allowed to post is in order here. Namely this -

If you have a negative BST (buy, sell, trade) experience with another member - you ARE allowed to post about it ! But please do so in your own thread and not one like this.

This is correct - you are allowed to do that. But care must be taken as to how you go about doing that. In other words you can report the facts, but you are not allowed to start calling people names, make threats of any kind, including threats to sue, and realize that you will be held personally and legally responsible for what you say and could even be sued by the other party for doing so.

And understand, this goes both ways !

    This is also correct.

Now that may sound a bit contradictory but it isn't. In other words, as I said above if you have a negative experience you are allowed to post about it so that other members can be made aware. And if the other party wants to post about it and respond to your post he's allowed to do that too.

But ultimately the resolution has to take place between the 2 parties involved and privately ! The original transaction took place in private, so the resolution will take place in private.

And this is correct as well. If anyone, and that includes the parties involved as well as other members who may decide to post in such a thread, breaks the forum rules there will be consequences !

Now if you wish to tread dangerous waters like that - have at it.

I've had tons of positive experiences both buying and selling. Out of them there was only one time I had a negative experience where the person took the money and never sent what I paid for. Thankfully it wasn't that much money and if someone was desperate enough to need like $35 that bad, well then they probably needed it more than me. So I just warned others with a thread so no one else would get scammed and left it alone.

The only other semi neutral experience I have had was the one time I agreed to hold an item. The item was a hot new release item at the time and I agreed to hold it and held for over a week and then the person backed out come payment day. This caused me to lose out on $$$ as more supply entered the market and the price cooled a bit. Other than that everyone else I dealt with was great but I did institute a no hold policy after that lol.

I stupidly let myself get sucked into dealing with BNB under an alt; does this count?

Oh, wait... the key word here was "trusty", wasn't it?
