I joined a local coin club last week and attended my first meeting. I bought some raffle tickets for $10 and won a 1896 P Morgan Dollar. Nice! I liked it so much that I joined a second coin club. I bought another $10 of raffle tickets and won a 1970 Mint Set, which includes the hard to find 40% silver Kennedy Half Dollar. Nice x 2!! I know I won't win the raffle every week, but I can't wait to go back. 20180315_201847.jpg 20180315_201912.jpg 20180315_201958.jpg 20180315_202023.jpg 20180315_203401.jpg 20180315_203431.jpg 20180309_212033.jpg 20180309_212227.jpg

During the Christmas party at my coin club they ran a 50/50 raffle. The president walked over to my girlfriend with the can full of ticket stubs. He told her "Here pick one but you can't pick Victor's". Everyone laughed.
He was just joking. Well guess what she picked my ticket number and I won $41.

Join the right club and can definitely pay. One of the local clubs I belong to, for your 7 to $10 dues payment, you get a 6 to 8 page newsletter every month, in July we have an indoor picnic with the club providing the main entrée, fried chicken and pizza, and this past December we went out to an Italian restaurant the Christmas dinner with the club paying the bill. And in the gift exchange at the Christmas dinner, the club tossed in an MS 62 1891 Morgan dollar for some lucky winner. So that's between 72 and 96 pages of reading material and two meals for 7 to $10. I'd say that's a really good return on your money.

That is awesome!!! You need to purchase a lottery ticket while you are still hot!
