Is anyone else just tired of the park quarters?

First it was the state quarters than it was the territory quarters and now its the national park quarters so is anyone just tired of all these different quarters and does anyone else just want one simple quarter design to be used every year?

I like the change and I like the idea, I just don't like the designs they're picking for a lot of them when much better designs were available.

I don't mind them. The recently released Pictured Rocks is quite nice, to me at any rate. Do you realize that the old eagle style reverse hasn't been used since 1998? When these ATB quarters are finished, I wonder if we'll return to the old style.

I never look at them so it makes no difference to me.

German coins had really nice stylized eagles *cough, ahem* after 1945.

    Nope.

There's an option to run another series of 56 commemoratives starting in 2021, or not. Either way, when the last commemoratives are done, the next reverse design is Washington crossing the Delaware.

Never really looked at a territory or park quarter except maybe by accident. I was sick of the whole thing even before the state quarter program ended.

This is the only reason I’m not completely against them. It’s getting people into collecting who before had no interest or budget. Heck, even my dad collected the state quarters when they came out.

Only the ones issued by the Federal Republic of Germany, thus between 1949 and today. And yes, we still have them on collector coins. But each country does these things differently.

As for the ATB quarters, well, some have nice designs - by and large, better than some of the state quarters. After all, the SQs were supposed to somehow represent or reflect the state, and in a few cases that resulted in odd combinations of symbols instead of well composed "ensembles". Now when a design is about a national park etc., it is easier to focus on the characteristics of that site. If only the state and site name were displayed a little more prominently on the ATB quarters. Not being from the US, I always have to look twice or three times. ;)

Seconded. I'm pretty much oblivious to them, as I was to the state quarters.
