Please help me with this penny. I save all 1972's in a jar, then look at them when I am done with the box of rolls. I am hoping it is what i am seeing.
what does liberty look like? Based off your picture (blurry and not complete coin) I think you may have a DDO #003 http://coppercoins.com/lincoln/diestate.php?date=1972&die_id=1972p1do003&die_state=eds
There does appear to be a spread at IGWT. But blurry. Waiting for better pics. Try to narrow it down to just shots of IGWT and a separate shot close up of Liberty.
I'm seeing something on the L in Liberty and spread on the 2 so far. "In" looks nice. You seeing anything more yet? Agreed it's not the big one but still looks like one of 'em.
I'm not good at photos either. But if you have Paint or Picassa you might try cropping Liberty and IGWT and then enlarge only to the point where the photo remains clear. Takes some getting used to but it can be done.
Tommy, I am just excited to finally find something!!! . I will try better pictures later. I have ordered a digital microscope just for things like these. Won't be here until next week.

Imagining a nice piece of liver, smothered in onions, riding a high-handlebar motorcycle with a huge front fork.
