My very first submission to NGC. I was definitely nervous, since it was bought raw and has some crazy toning. What do you think it graded?
FYI, there was a time a year or two ago when rainbow toned, certified ASE's would routinely sell for $350, as long as they were straight graded. Now, the market is flooded with them and most fetch $75-$100.
you either value the Toning, or don't. For me, I'd rather clean/ restore a toned ASE then watch it rot away. But I avoid them anyways.
Heh, If this were a Zincoln I would completely agree with rot. Being it's round billion the toning can do nothing but increase the value in today's market... I'm at 68 figuring whatever caused the toning also caused a couple of ticks.
I'll guess MS69 just to find out. I have a personal belief that MS70's only come about from large companies who make bulk submissions.
68 I had a set of 68 25 year set...why well like another said most are 69 or 70's so pop was lower with the 68's and what was the difference 68 /69 not much...
