I have few bills here and my friend said they might be worth keeping because of their serial numbers. Attached an image. Are the serial numbers special? I've got bills from an ATM that are in serial: Washington D.C Series 2013 FW C 117 G 25507294 D to G 25507300 D and FW B 117 G 25507101 D to G 25507113 D I assume there's nothing special with these. Any ideas?
Nothing special so spend them. If the bill at the top was 4448888 and that 7 was a 4 or an 8, yes a small premium as it would be a binary note.
And always, always consider condition, it can be somewhat of a rare not But if the condition is not that good, it wont be worth much
@Clarenze Cruz despite the wear on those bills I would gladly add them to my collection. The serial numbers alone are fantastic as is the art work. Please keep them in your collection. They don't make them like that any longer. P.S. My post was a compliment to you and to the bills, not an offer to buy.
Collecting Nut: Thanks for your compliment. Yes I will keep them in my collection. I don't care about the bad conditions of those bills. I bought them because of their cool serial patterns. Sometimes I like heavy circulated us currency than uncirculated crispy bills because that give evidences that the bills have history..it shows the originality that they were used well for transactions between people.
