I know this is a simple set to put together but after 48 years of doing JUST Lincoln cents I branched out and put a set of SBA dollar together. She’s an ugly old hag but she’s growing on me. I’ve got to find A 1999 proof to really finish the set then the type 2 coins for 1979 & 1981. Shows coming up soon! Well.. You couldn't choose from the beginning to put a set of SBA's because they have only been around 39 years ;)

But I know what you meant :wacky:

Never thought about that @paddyman98 your right but I was too interested in the 17 year old girl that would become my wife to think about a new series to collect. Lol.

Have you though about branching out to the Ike dollar series or even a small foreign series such as the Mexican 100 pesos coin of 1977-1979?

Yes I think Ike’s are the natural next step. I’ll look at some foreign coins I think for ideas. Norwegian coins have short runs and would be interesting and easy to complete. Thanks for your suggestions.
