1922 D Lincoln Cent No mint mark?

    I found this coin and was wondering if this is a no mint mark 1922 D Lincoln Cent?

    Weak D? Looks like a D in the second photo.

    Yes but it's not as visible as your average mintmark, hence why it's called a weak D.

    If you can see traces of the mintmark, it doesn't qualify as a no-mintmark coin.

    I am told that there are only four recognized die pairs for the 1922 no d Lincoln.
    There exist 1922 cents that don't match those four. Until the experts agree those non recognized cents are in limbo. Weak d 1922s are worth more than strong d coins but much less than no d. Good coins are out there. Eventually you will find some and the people here will steer you right. Keep looking.
