    IMHO if there was a D mint mark there at one time It's too far down to the left. Doesn't matter anyway because it would be considered damage if it were removed.

    Well, that's the rarest variety I'm likely to see this year -- the 1982-D, small date, bronze planchet, "No-D" cent!

    The 1982-D small date is zinc 2.5 grams.
    The 1982 Philly small date is copper 3.1 grams.
