I've got over 5,000 large cents and conduct (or assist in) research on them, especially the Vickies. There were 8 different Obverses used just for the Victoria cents... Obv 1, 1a, 1a/1, 2, 2/1a, 3, 3a, and 4. they are a variety hunter's dream, with over 200 die marriages for 1859 alone. Canada large cents are a cheap way to get heavy into intricate numismatic research and study .. been doing it for 40 years. BTW, Siberian Man, you forgot the 1858 and '59 early Vicky portrait mintages.
Those are some nice Canadian Coins... Currently, I am starting a Canadian Large Cent Collection... A Bit of Advice... The grades of your coins are pretty common/circulated... you should definitely look for some higher grades! The coins are so much prettier in XF+. Just a side note... Here's an 1891 Canadian 25 Cent piece that I just sold recently on EBay for $100.
Thanks for displaying some Canadian coins, I am also a fan of Canadian coins especially prior to and including 1967. I really like the old large pennies , and the sterling silver nickels 1919 and earlier. I cannot post any right now as these are packed away and not accessible at this time. I like your Canadian quarters and the large pennies. On some of the pennies they used 4 different busts of the queen . Sometime difficult to tell one from the other. Keep on collecting !!
Dilly dilly. I like canadian cents but my grandbabies collection are small. We try only on roll searching. Glad to hear about canadian coins. Dont be a stranger k. Cuz those are my favorite
